DCWF 901 Executive Cyber Leader Guidance

In collaboration with the military services, the Department of War Chief Information Officer has published supplemental guidance on Department Cyber Workforce Framework (DCWF) work role 901 Executive Cyber Leader. DoW CIO Memo Summary: The DCWF work role 901 ECL applies to DoW Civilians at a federal civil service pay grade of General Schedule-15 (or equivalent) under special circumstances in which command-level decision-making authorities are present without General Officer/Flag Officer/Senior Executive Service (SES) staff on hand. It is not advisable to consider this work role for all GS-15 personnel. This DCWF work role also applies to military service officers at the O-6 pay grade or higher, and DoW SES personnel (or equivalent). The only proficiency level that applies to this DCWF work role is the DoD 8140 advanced proficiency level. This DCWF work role does not apply to DoW contract support personnel.
